Charlotte Mothers is a writer from the UK
A girl with a notable imagination, a passion for writing, and an uncontrollable love for shoes, Charley is a hopeless romantic and loves nothing more than to sit with a good book while it’s raining outside. From the day she could hold a pencil she’s been writing, progressing from short stories at the age of 9 to a fully fledged blog since 2006.
Whilst studying for an English Literature degree at BGUC Lincoln, she discovered that writing was the career for her, aspiring to become a columnist for a national magazine or newspaper. She started her career as a summer intern for Great Hotels of the World, building up her portfolio with travel articles and online guide books, then graduated with a BA (hons) in English Literature and an even bigger passion for writing. She then became an intern for health & wellness website Wahanda and discovered the world of massages and facials (she still hasn’t plucked up enough courage to join the gym though…), which bumped up her portfolio with experience in merchandising, SEO articles and newsletter campaigns. Still working at Wahanda as their Site Manager & Operations Support, she also freelances for technology blog Macgasm.net and the Lush Times newspaper from Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics.
Interested in technology as well as Christian Louboutin, she’s permanently attached to her Macbook with one hand on the keyboard and the other typing away on her iPhone. Don’t knock the Geeks, they really are cool :)
