Pore the love of..

Why is Katie Melua on every TV advert about foreign holidays or cars? I must have heard her whole discography on various channels today.

Now that my room is all cleaned out and tidy i began a scrapbook for my fresher year at BGC Uni, just as a little reminder. So i’ve collected all the leaflets, notes, letters and photos to put in it. My first year was amazing and i wouldn’t change it for the world, i met some lovely people and made some fantastic friends. It didn’t go without some hitches however!

- There was the very scary night when the security alarm went off at 1am and we were nightmaring about crazed killers wielding machetes, a little too dramatic really!
- The night when i was horribly sick in my bin and proceeded to lose weight for the next week, very bad since i’m a skinny bitch anyway..
- And the 5 Legged Pub Crawl didn’t go to plan when our ankle ties broke halfway down the road, so we went to the first pub then ran off down the hill to Ritzys. I think we raised about 20p?

I looked in the mirror this morning after a very very hot shower, someone needs to fix it!, and noticed how many spots i have recently! This needed to be sorted straightaway i thought so i searched through the bathroom cabinets throwing-everything-over-your-shoulder style…Finally i came across Body Shop’s ‘Tea Tree Oil Pore Mask’ and proceeded to slop half the tube onto my face. I tell you i looked a sight as the mask is a pea green colour, i’m not a terribly big fan of green. 15 minutes well spent of making Shrek faces in the mirror though… I was thinking this was better than the freaky hypoallergenic mask i had to endure one girly night in of Fe’s at Uni. They make you look like the guy from Texas Chainsaw Massacre or a burns victim, scary stuff. Peeling it off after the assigned time was slightly painful as it clung to the little hairs on my face, but my skin actually felt very soft and fresh! I smelt of tea tree oil for a while but i still feel as fresh as a daisy and hopefully my pores will be fought off if i continue to use it…please? I’ve always been quite lucky when it comes to skincare, albeit my t-zone is a little more oily than i’d like, but i’ve never had major problems with spotty skin and any dryness is soon sorted with a bit of Vitamin E cream. Lets hope this carries on until my old age!

One thing that is frustrating me at the moment is the one MFI advert with the teenager and angry mum. I SWEAR if i see that advert once more time, i will get violent!…
