A 'Healthy' Brew

Whoever would have thought that my full fat, milky, 2 sugar cuppa would be healthier than an ice cool pint of water? Well this is the story..

“Drinking three or more cups of tea a day is as good for you as drinking plenty of water and may even have extra health benefits, say researchers”

BBQ's, Little Shop of Horrors, and Boobs!

So i’ve had a long weekend in London, a very sunny London, until now.. Friday afternoon i made my way to Spalding train station awaiting a fast and comfortable journey to the big city, on the way i bumped into some old friends and had a quick natter to catch up with what they were [...]

Pore the love of..

Why is Katie Melua on every TV advert about foreign holidays or cars? I must have heard her whole discography on various channels today.

Birds!

I’m finding birds quite fascinating, mostly in the arty sense. I love Swallows so much i even got a couple tattooed on my lower back, and they’re my favourite tattoo of all i have. I love how they look and how intricate they can be when tattooed on someones skin.

It's Snow Joke…

Thank god for Jodi Picoult. At last, a female author who researches to the core of her novels and teaches me things i didn’t know!
I’m reading ‘The Tenth Circle’, which is the most recent of her collection, and it’s full of topics that make me want to read further into them. Dante’s Inferno, for example, [...]

piss-en-lit?

The Dandelion. It’s yellow, it smells a bit, it’s got big leaves, and for gardeners it’s a pretty but annoying weed. But did you know that there are over 100 species of dandelion, and all are beneficial to our health?
Early colonists took the dandelion to North America, teaching of its medical advantages, and the French [...]
